Technology Stance
While every developer has some sort of preference towards a particular technology, the purpose of this blog is not to influence you into one form of technology or another. There are plenty of other sites on the web for that. The primary usage of technologies on this site is for instructional and learning purposes. There is, without a doubt, a heavy stance toward Actionscript, but this is more out of personal experience and less out of propaganda. My personal philosophy is that I am not an Actionscript or AJAX developer, I am a Rich Internet Application developer. By realizing that technology can change rather rapidly, we prevent ourselves from becoming obsolescent. Thus said, this site should be utilized as a tool for developing skills that are either encompassed by the technology presented, or abstracted by the methodologies and best practices that are discussed.
